The Department of OB/Gyn at Duke is engaged in an initiative to reduce maternal death and childbirth related injury in Africa. 

Our mission is to improve health and reduce morbidity and mortality of women in low-resource settings worldwide by community and medical education, research, and direct patient care.

Many thanks to all—committee members, volunteers and attendees—who contributed to the success of the 4th Annual Blue Jean Ball.  Together we are impacting the lives of women and newborns in low resource areas.
